Here is is an application of AI that is encroaching on the rights and biological assets of people. Although it is early days for innovation in AI, and the world does not want to stifle innovation, is it ethical to let AI duplicate the voices of voice actors unknown to them? Is trampling their human rights by using their voices without their permission justifiable? Surely not. Perhaps it has happened inadvertently, and indirectly. No doubt, a study will reveal that people along the journey are at fault. They may take cover by quoting the recent emergence of text to voice conversion technologies using AI.
